The first step in the adoption process is to fill the application out. Please fill it out in its entirety and tell us as much about yourself as possible \u2013 the more information we get the better we can match you with the right dog. We do three reference checks (only 1 can be a family member and partners\/spouses do not count) and a vet check for currently or recently owned pets (if applicable). Then we do a home visit. Your application is not approved until the home visit has been done. The adoption fee is $450.00. It is non-negotiable. The adoption fee includes spayed\/neutered (age appropriate), and vaccinated (age appropriate) with rabies, DHPP and bordetella. We keep the dogs up-to-date on flea and heartworm preventative and do a heartworm test. If we know about an illness or injury when we rescue the dog, we do our best to take care of those vet costs before adoption. For puppies too young to have received all their shots and spay\/neuter, we give at least one round of DHPP. The adopter is responsible for covering the cost of all booster shots and spay\/neuter after adoption. We can recommend low cost spay\/neuter programs and vets who accept certificates.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Meet Mel! Mel has a playful side and enjoys running around and chasing after his favorite toy. He’s an intelligent dog Mel’s ideal home would be a single man. He is slow to gain trust and warm up but once he does, he is as loyal as they come! Due to unknown factors, Mel may or may not be good with other dogs. Meet Buddy, an adorable young pup who is in need of a loving home. Buddy may be young, but he’s a very smart dog that has already learned how to sit, stay, and come on command. He’s a friendly pup who loves to play fetch and chase after his favorite toy. He’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a walk in the park or a quick run around the backyard. While Buddy is a very sweet dog, we do not know if he is good with other dogs. He would benefit from calm, gentle owners who have experience with pets. If you think you could provide Buddy with a forever home, we would love to set up a meet-and-greet. Buddy is a 15-year-old Pom mix who is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can spend his golden years. This senior pup is neutered and weighs 14 pounds. He is a sweet boy who would love to find a home where he can sit on a lap and be doted on. He is a bit unsure of other dogs but tends to get along with cats and calm dogs that won’t agitate him. He would do best in a home without any big dogs. We are confused as to why Maddie is constantly overlooked. She\u2019s been at the rescue for almost a year\u2026one year! Maddie is a friendly and affectionate dog, who loves to play, explore and get to know new people. She is a very loyal dog who will be a great companion and is always brave and athletic.<\/p>

Maddie was found in a culvert with her siblings, where she was abandoned. Despite this difficult start, Maddie is a smart and curious dog who has done well with everyone she has met. She is a great listener and is eager to please. Maddie is also a great friend to other dogs. Great Babies Rescue<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> is pleased to announce that Dexter is now available for adoption! He is approximately 2 yrs old. He was recently neutered, and is now healed.<\/div><\/div>
He is another California doberman that was saved from euthanasia just hours before his scheduled execution.<\/div><\/div>
He has suffered some serious trauma in his life. Note the scars on his side \"\ud83e\udd7a\"<\/span> It appears someone threw caustic chemicals on his body, forever marking him. I choose to think of it as his Harry Potter lightning bolt, protecting him from further evil.<\/div><\/div>

She is a very special girl, she is a tripod, but she thinks all dogs are just like her. She was likely hit by a car. When she was found, her front limb was just dangling with no hope to save her leg.<\/div><\/div>
She is faster than 4 legged dogs, and uses her front paw like a human arm. She can open an extremely heavy sliding glass door.<\/div><\/div>
She is also a bit of a harlot, stealing husbands away, and replacing the wife \"\ud83d\ude06\"<\/span><\/div><\/div>
She is young, probably just over a year. She is full of energy, and needs an active home. She can’t be crated. She has anxiety when left alone. Someone who works from home would be ideal.<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Peppa is most likely the last female available! She is pictured. She is very similar in temperament to the other females, good with other dogs, kids, and cats. She went to an adoption event today, and was a little reserved, but she is willing to trust humans again, after being failed by them over and over.<\/div><\/div>

She is deaf and vision impaired but she doesn’t let that stop her! She does well with another 4 legged companion to guide her around.
