Buddy is a 15-year-old Pom mix who is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can spend his golden years. This senior pup is neutered and weighs 14 pounds. He is a sweet boy who would love to find a home where he can sit on a lap and be doted on. He is a bit unsure of other dogs but tends to get along with cats and calm dogs that won’t agitate him. He would do best in a home without any big dogs. If you’re looking for a sweet, older dog to love, consider adopting Buddy!
Wookie is an 8 pound snuggle bug! He is just under 1 year old. They say he is Chihuahua/Dacshund mix but we think he has some Italian Greyhound in him.
Are you Wookies snuggle buddy? He would be content staying in and watching some Netflix and chillin’ ?
Mr. Todd came in with lots of baggage, but he is a young dog looking for the love of his life. When you haven’t had the best start, sometimes the way is not the way you think. He has a new map and is learning the skills to make his new owner happy. He is estimated to be 3 to 5 years old. Male and pomeranian mix, lol, only because I don’t know his parents. One could have been a fox with the dancing he does to get your attention (kidding but he does dance!) He looks all pom. He weighs 10 pounds, but this is a pound and a half more than when he came in and probably needs at least one more pound.
“Hello, my name is Princess, and I am a young female dog looking for a loving home. I am an affectionate and friendly dog who would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a playful and fun-loving pup. I love to play, run around, and explore new places. I am a sweet girl who loves to give kisses and snuggle up with my favorite humans. I have a lot of energy and would love an active home where I can get lots of exercise and continue to learn and grow as a dog. I am a very good girl who is house-trained and knows some basic commands. I love people. I am excited to meet my forever family and spend my life with them.”
Kato is such a sweet boy! He loves everyone he meets. He is a doberman puppy in an adult body. His previous owner worked 14-16 hours daily, so he was in a crate way too long, and he missed out on basic training.
Kato needs a very active family that can work out his energy, and start daily training with him. He knows a few basics, but he isn’t reliable. Ideally, I would like to see him enrolled in a training course. Just an 8-10 week program.
A fenced yard is preferred. This boy needs lots of time to run and play. His current foster is working on training, and said he is super smart. He is submissive to her Great Dane.
Meet Mel! Mel has a playful side and enjoys running around and chasing after his favorite toy. He’s an intelligent dog Mel’s ideal home would be a single man. He is slow to gain trust and warm up but once he does, he is as loyal as they come! Due to unknown factors, Mel may or may not be good with other dogs. He would benefit from slow and careful introduction to other dogs to see if they get along.
Meet Buddy, an adorable young pup who is in need of a loving home. Buddy may be young, but he’s a very smart dog that has already learned how to sit, stay, and come on command. He’s a friendly pup who loves to play fetch and chase after his favorite toy. He’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a walk in the park or a quick run around the backyard. While Buddy is a very sweet dog, we do not know if he is good with other dogs. He would benefit from calm, gentle owners who have experience with pets. If you think you could provide Buddy with a forever home, we would love to set up a meet-and-greet. Come fall in love with this wonderful dog!
We are confused as to why Maddie is constantly overlooked. She’s been at the rescue for almost a year…one year! Maddie is a friendly and affectionate dog, who loves to play, explore and get to know new people. She is a very loyal dog who will be a great companion and is always brave and athletic.
Maddie was found in a culvert with her siblings, where she was abandoned. Despite this difficult start, Maddie is a smart and curious dog who has done well with everyone she has met. She is a great listener and is eager to please. Maddie is also a great friend to other dogs. She is a young dog with a lot of love to give and is hoping to find a forever home where she can be the center of attention.
At this time Theo needs a home with no small children or cats. Theo is learning that he cannot jump on you when he greets you or gets excited. Since he is young he could be taught to do fine with cats- but at this time he has no recall and chases them. Theo has slight food aggression due to going days without food and thinking other animals won’t let him have any. He will growl, but has not done anything further. We are continuing to work with him on this behavior. He has been tested with dogs and excels with other dogs as he wants to do what they do.
Here’s Asher! A 6.5 yrs old black and rust doberman. He is cropped but flopped over, almost like folded over. He is also docked. Asher is very slim and elegant. He was found running the roads in a snow storm in western Michigan. He is a quiet, reserved boy. Both Crate and Potty trained. Very regal with a fantastic coat! He hasn’t been with us long so he is still a little quirky. We feel he was beaten and possibly shocked by a woman. He prefers men, but likes his foster mom 95% of the time. Asher does not like anyone hovering over his head, or holding him in an embrace. I think he feels trapped.
